A year after the award show held a no in-person ceremony, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the MTV Video Music Awards is back! The event, hosted by American rapper and pop culture sensation, Doja Cat, was held on September 12, 2021, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City.
