Lupin had over 76 million of us on the edge of our couches earlier this year. Only Netflix’s record-breaking Bridgerton (with 82 million views) and The Witcher (with 76 million) have been able to match this action-thriller. Lupin has the perfect balance of intrigue, drama, suspense and humour, the acting was top-notch, with characters like Omar Sy, Hervé Pierre and Nicole Garcia keeping us sucked in, and most importantly, with only 5 episodes, it was just long enough to keep us engaged (not to mention that epic cliffhanger in the last episode). Now, Assane is back!
The protagonist’s quest for revenge against his arch nemesis, Hubert Pelligrini has torn his family to pieces. With his back to the wall, he now has to think of a new plan, even if it means putting himself in danger.
Created by George Kay in collaboration with François Uzan, and directed by Ludovic Bernard and Hugo Gélin, Lupin part 2 is set to be released on Netflix this Summer, following its debut in January 2021.
