As Nigerian singer-songwriter, Tolani mentioned in a recent interview, it???s one of the best times to be a creative in Nigeria. “People are excited by the art, fashion, music, film that???s coming out of Nigeria. It feels like part of a movement, in this day and age, to be a Nigerian creative,” she said. That’s especially true of the music scene, which is possibly experiencing its biggest boom in history. Artists like Tiwa Savage, Davido, Mr Eazi and more are finally getting the recognition they deserve – all around the world.
One of such recognitions came in the form of a magazine cover for the latest issue of Billboard. The American entertainment media giant writes of the global stars, “As the industry buzzes with ??? and profits from ??? new languages and sounds from all over, the prospects for artists across the continent have never been brighter or more numerous.”
Sharing the news with her 11+ million followers, Tiwa Savage writes, “I AM SO PROUD TO BE AN AFRICAN WOMAN RIGHT NOW ?????????????????????? Cover of??@billboard??with my brothers??@davidoofficial??@mreazi??#HISTORY”??

No one puts it better than Tiwa Savage, though, who says in the interview, “People just need to get on the train. This isn’t a fad. With 1.2 billion people, we???re not going anywhere anytime soon. We???re here to stay.”
