Critics have taken some time off slamming US President, Donald Trump, to pay his daughter some attention.
The American businesswoman and former reality TV personality recently took to Twitter to share cute photos of her date night with her husband, Jared Kushner. Nothing wrong with that, right? Only one problem: She chose the wrongest time.
As??chaos, protests and tears erupted at international airports over President Trump’s fresh??order barring??refugees and travellers from certain??Muslim countries, Ivanka showed off her $5000 silvery Carolina Carrera gown, smiling alongside her man.
The reaction on Twitter was less than pleasant:

Glad the first daughter is enjoying her night out on the town as our country betrays everything it stands for #betrayal

While some argue that every social media user wields the power to use their accounts??as they please, others believe the timing of her Twitter post was wholly??inappropriate. Some have even likened Ivanka to French queen,??Marie Antoinette, who famously??said, “Let them eat cake!” when she was told??starving peasants had no bread – equally unsuitable to the situation.
Non withstanding, the photo attracted over 230,000 likes and over 12,000 comments, not all of them negative.
The First Daughter??issued no statement.
