You would recollect earlier on in the year, a video of Prince Harry speaking to Bob Iger –Chairman of Walt Disney, made its way on the internet during the Sussex’s announcement to take a step back from royal duties. The video showed the Duke praising the Duchess and emphasising on her career as a voice-over artist, well, you need not wait any further to see what that conversation produced as Disney has just released a trailer for two new documentaries with one featuring Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.
To be aired on the 3rd of April via the network’s streaming platform Disney+, the Disneynature film titled Elephant tells the story of Shani and her son, Jomo, as their herd makes a pilgrimage hundreds of miles across the Kalahari Desert.
It has been reported that the Duchess recorded for the documentary in the fall of 2019 and was approached by the filmmakers who had prior knowledge of her passion for Elephants. It is also important to point out the Duke and Duchess are advocates for Elephants Without Borders and the conservation of the animals, which makes this collaboration a no-brainer. It has also been reported that proceeds from the film would go to the Elephants Without Borders charity.
