Popular for her role as the lead vocal of the British Indie Rock Band, Noisettes, Shingai, who is also a bassist for the band, is a force to reckon with. The band is known for their chart-topping music such as Never Forget You, Sister Rosetta, Don???t Upset the Rhythm and many others.
The Zimbabwean-British powerhouse has gone on to release solo projects that explore a new era of pop. Influenced by her Southern African roots, her EP, Ancient Futures, makes use of live instruments and future-forward programming.
