Since 2013, Business of Fashion has been in the business of creating an ever-growing, global community of business leaders, exceptional entrepreneurs, innovative retailers and fashion enthusiasts within the fashion industry. On October 1st, key players including designers, executives and editors, gathered at the seventh annual #BoF500 Gala at the Hôtel de Ville in Paris.
The main aim of annual gala is to celebrate people making significant contributions towards shaping the international fashion industry. Amongst this year’s notable guests were supermodel and philanthropist, Naomi Campbell, editor-in-chief, Vogue China, Angelica Cheung, British actor, Maisie Williams, Nigerian designer, Lisa Folawiyo and Lagos Fashion and Design Week founder, Omoyemi Akerele.
Earlier this week, the official #BoF500 list was released, which included several Africans creatives such as model, Adesuwa Aighewi (Nigeria), designer, Kenneth Ize (Nigeria) and editor-in-chief, Nkosiyati Khumalo.
