H&M’s FIRST AFRICAN COLLABORATION WILL LAUNCH TODAY

Just last month, giant online fashion store, Asos launched a new collection, in collaboration with British-Nigerian designer, Irene Agbontaen. Now, H&M is announcing its partnership with South African label Mantsho, to create an exciting, vibrant and contemporary collection.

Mantsho was established in 2004 and has since graced runways around the world, including those in Nigeria, Jamaica Botswana, Senegal, Greece, India and the USA.

Speaking on the new collaboration, head designer, Palesa Mokubung said, “This is my love letter to the world, from Africa.” She added, “I hope customers around the world will enjoy this ensemble of my stand-out pieces from my last three collections.”

The collection, set to launch today, Thursday August 15th, at H&M South Africa, will include dresses, pants, a skirt, kimonos, blouses, a sweater, espadrilles, clutch bags, earrings and leather cuffs.
