People from all over the world can now view the works of the late Yves Saint Laurent for themselves as the Pierre Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent Foundation has opened a museum in Paris in honour of the designer’s contribution to the world of fashion.  The YSL museum is located at 5 Avenue Marceau in the hotel where Yves Saint Laurent had his atelier between 1974 until his retirement in 2002. As they step into the museum, visitors are greeted with one of Yves Saint Laurent’s famous quotes, “Les modes passent, le style est éternal” which translates into English as “Fashion fades, but style is eternal”.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to enter Yves Saint Laurent’s personal studio. The display of the designer’s very first collection in 1962 and many of his other inaugural and revolutionary pieces will run until the 9th of September, 2018.
