Every year, EbonyLife Films rolls out a must-see movie. For the last few years, it’s been successive comedies that have us legging it to the cinema with our girlfriends and laugh-out-louding, but come 2019, the Nigerian and international audience is getting something a bit different – a chilling drama, Òlòtūré.
The first official teaser was released by the media company on Monday, June 24, with scenes featuring actors, Sharon Ooja, Beverly Osu, Omoni Oboli, Sambasa Nzeribe and more.

The film tells the story of a young Nigerian journalist who goes undercover to expose the truths of the dark world of human trafficking. In this new, brutal world of pimps and prostitutes, the unlikely friendships she forms are what keep her going, but in her quest to find the truth, will she end up on a journey of no return?
Director, Kenneth Gyang says of the soon-to-be-released film: “Òlòtūré is a love letter to Lagos. It’s about the hustle and struggle for survival, in the huge belly of a city crammed with over twenty million Nigerians.”
Òlòtūré features actors, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Omowunmi Dada, Patrick Doyle, Segun Arinze, Yemi Solade, Gregory Ojefua, and Lala Akindoju.
