GENEVIEVE NNAJI, KATE BECKINSALE AND MORE STAR IN THE RIVETING, COMING-OF-AGE DRAMA WE DIDN’T KNOW WE NEEDED

Written and directed by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Farming tells the story of a young Nigerian boy, Enitan, who is ‘farmed out’ as a baby by his parents, to a white British family in a bid to give him a better life. Instead, he suffers years of discrimination and abuse, eventually ending up as the feared leader of a white supremacist gang.

The film takes us on Enitan’s (played by British actor, Damson Idris) journey, as he struggles with finding his identity as a black man, in the era of the skinhead movement.

Farming, which stars director, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Genevieve Nnaji, Kate Beckinsale, John Dagleish, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and several others, premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival on September 8th, but is set to be released in the United Kingdom in September 2019.
