Earlier in the year, music icon and fashion designer, Victoria Beckham shared news of a beauty project she had been working on, Victoria Beckham Beauty – a skincare line, which will provide everything from makeup to fragrance. This is an attempt by the superstar to “provide insightful beauty solutions and share her experiences, passion and point of view”, according to an official press release.
Via Instagram today, Beckham said “I am so, so excited. I can’t wait to share, I cannot believe it’s finally here – I’ve been working on this secret project for a long, long time.”
It’s good news for VB fans and beauty enthusiasts alike all over the world, as the product is now set to be released this Autumn. Although an official launch date has not yet be announced, Victoria is already giving us loyals a behind-the-scenes peek at one of the products that’s likely to be included in the line – a lush-looking, dark and shiny eye mask.
The New York based company, Victoria Beckham Beauty, will be headed by co-founder and CEO (also former head of global make-up development and marketing at Estée Lauder), Sarah Creal, who worked alongside Beckham on the Victoria Beckham x Estée Lauder capsule collections.
“Victoria has an innate love of beauty that started when she was very young, and has continued unabated,” Creal says. “This authenticity is going to infuse the entire business strategy, and because everything will be directly overseen by Victoria, the line will be elevated and impeccably curated.”
But this isn’t just another business venture for the successful entrepreneur. Off the news of her forthcoming line, Beckham said, “I want to take care of women inside and out, providing them with the must-have items in make-up, skincare, fragrance and wellness that I feel I need in my own life.”
