MOTHUSI LESOLLE (HOUSE OF IZAURA)
Mothusi is the founder of the House of Izaura. Although he studied political science, he was determined to pursue a career in fashion. He is the co-founder of Colour in the Desert Fashion Week. In 2014 he showcased his clothing at Festival for African fashion and Art in Kenya. He has also featured on CNN’s African Voices.
AOBAKWE MOLOSIWA (GILDED SANDS)
Molosiwa dropped out of the University of Botswana where he was previously studying medicine to pursue his dream of becoming a fashion designer. His love for gorgeous clothing was what motivated him to study fashion design at the Linea academy in South Africa in 2012. Since then he has been invited to many other events like the Swahili Fashion Week, HIFA, Zimbabwe Fashion week and many others.
KAONE MOREMONG (HOUSE OF KAY)
Kaone is a self-taught fashion designer whose passion for fashion was ignited at an early age when she would assist her seamstress grandmother. She launched her brand (House of Kay) in 2014 which integrates African prints and colours into different types of styles for both men and women. It is now one of the most sought-after brands in Botswana.
BOTHO CHALEBGWA (BOTOCY CREATIONS)
Botho graduated in 2010 with a BA Honours from Linea Fashion Academy in South Africa. Her passion for fashion was from an early age. She loved creating things and would paint whenever she had the chance. She founded her fashion brand BOTCY and got her breakthrough when she was chosen to showcase her brand at the Garbone fashion Night in 2011.
